We started beekeeping in 2014. Back then we had four hives. Over the years we have grown our bee numbers and now we have 350 hives spread out around Christchurch, from Huntsbury hill to Marshlands road to Kennedy's Bush and everywhere in between.
The honey is multifloral as it is mainly collected in urban areas and the bees have gathered nectar from a variety of flowers in Christchurch gardens as well as from clover in parks and from trees such as cabbage trees and gum trees.
All our hives are free of any chemicals and we don't heat our honey up during the packaging process.
