We’re a small mushroom farm based in Richmond growing fresh oyster mushrooms. A new business supplying commercially to restaurants and cafes with the intention to bring in more varieties into our country.
Mushrooms are nutritious, high in antioxidants, boost the immune system and also metabolism. We are passionate about supplying our chemical-free produce to the local community recycling straw and selected organic waste into growing our mushrooms.
This is us, Aaron and Keiko. With our interest in food and 5 years in our own restaurant business, we stumbled upon growing our very own mushrooms and fascinated in the science side of things.
With many years in the restaurant industry, we want to share our excitement for the mushroom cultivation and especially inspire others about using these beautiful ingredients in their cooking. We are passionate about quality, service, sourcing local substrates, and sustainable agriculture.
We use equipment and techniques that have been traditionally reliable at producing delicious mushrooms all year round.
Currently experimenting with other mushrooms to bring into New Zealand Culinary.
We personally harvest, pack and deliver to ensure the highest quality and freshness and our mushrooms are 100% New Zealand grown!
