The farm is owned and operated by Ignacio (Nacho) and Casamira Sanchez. Twin Girls Farms grows organic apricots, cherries, feijoas, grapefruit, grapes, guavas, jujubes, kiwi, lemons, nectarines, oranges, peaches, persimmons, plums, pluots, pomegranates, and pomelos. The name of the farm was inspired by the 1991 birth of Nacho and Casamira's twin daughters. Nacho graduated from Fresno State with a B.S. in agriculture. In 1989, he bought his orchard with his wife, Casamira, which they farmed in their spare time. By 1993, Nacho had acquired more land and was farming full time. The couple feel good knowing workers can pick fruit and customers can enjoy it without worrying about pesticide residues. Any fruit the Sanchez's don’t sell is incorporated back into their soil, which is really neat.
