If you are a local gardener and/or allotment holder you can generate income from your local growing efforts with Ooooby Hampshire’s CropShare scheme. ‘Cropshare’ is a scheme where local gardeners and allotment holders can legally sell their surplus fruit and vegetables through our box scheme. It is inspired by a scheme of the same name operated by OrganicLea, a worker’s cooperative in the Lea Valley. Growers sign up to our crop-share scheme which means agreeing to the Wholesome Food Association’s principles of food production. This is a low-cost, alternative to organic certification for those growing and producing food for sale in their local region. You will receive weekly payment for the produce we sell for you in that week. Click on the button below to download a CropShare guide for more information. In the guide is a link to an online form to complete if you are interested in getting involved as a grower via CropShare.
