Shillingford Organics is located in Shillingford Abbot, a small village just three miles west of Exeter. Set in a sheltered valley between Alphington and the Haldon Hills, the farm’s rich Devon red soil is perfect for growing arable and horticultural crops and has been fully organic since 2002. Almost all of our veg is grown right here on 27 acres including 9 polytunnels by a great team of hardworking people which allow us to grow a range of tasty vegetables, salad and herbs all year round. Martyn has now stepped back from the day-to-day operations and we have two teams who self-manage. The growing team share responsibility for growing a whole range of crops which they supply to the Box Scheme, Exeter Farmers' Market and local shops and cafes. The packhouse team manage the box scheme and are responsible for everything from packing and delivering, to orders and payments.
