Moonacres Farm is a certified organic farm in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Farmer Phil Lavers left behind a career in banking to realise his childhood dream of owning a farm. After living in Japan for 10 years, Phil became interested in sustainable agriculture and decided to pack up and head back down under with his family to live off the land. The Moonacres team are big foodies who are passionate about sustainable farming. They allow the soil and climate to give the produce its authenticity with as little intervention as possible. It’s not that they don’t work hard – they do. But for them it’s not about being hands-on, it’s about knowing when to keep their hands off. When Phil’s amazing produce isn't being delivered in an Ooooby box, it's sold into many high-end restaurants in Sydney or dished up in their own Moonacres Kitchen farm cafe that features a menu of freshly harvested goods.
